Edmundson Park Aquatic Center, Oskaloosa
This project involved renovating the existing pool and bathhouse. Offices for the manager and lifeguards were added, as well as a family changing room and concession stand. An existing wading pool was removed and replaced with a “zero depth” extension to the main pool. This area also features raindrop sprinklers and a four-foot family slide. The deck area around the pool was widened to accommodate larger gatherings. Another new feature are two water slides - one open and one enclosed. The renovated pool is now heated and lit to allow for evening use.
