Iowa State Penitentiary, Fort Madison
The 96,000-square-foot addition houses 200 Special Needs prisoners (maximum security) as well as new administrative areas. The initial bid package included the foundation, precast building structure and roof. We were also awarded Enclosure Package II and Building Completion Package. The Enclosure Package included sitework, site paving, exterior windows and louvers for a weather-tight building.
