Merit Construction - Building stronger communities

Third Reformed Church, Pella
Phase I and II of this unique construction project involved the use of two very different building materials. The main structure consisted of masonry block with a brick veneer. This state-of-the-art church is not only unique with its design, but the congregation enjoys services with sound and projection systems that are on the cutting edge of technology. The building houses several offices, classrooms and meeting rooms, a computer lab, library, preschool and fellowship hall. The Third Reformed Church building is proud to be the recipient of the “Iowa Masonry Project of the Year” award.

Phase III’s structure was constructed with metal studs and a brick veneer. It houses a four-story prayer tower, an auditorium with a stage, a kitchen, multi-purpose rooms, a romper room, administrative offices, pre-toddler and toddler care rooms and restrooms. Additional parking was also part of this project.
